Hello,

My name is Holly Hurt. I have been helping students embrace the love of science at Cobden schools since 2004. I love having this opportunity! I teach the following courses: Earth Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Biology I, Environmental Biology, Chemistry and Physical Science. I am also the Class of 2021, Science Club, and National Honor Society sponsor. I am the Art Director for the Cobden High School Theater Department. I am also the coordinator for the Teen Teachers and Tech Wizards 4-H program. Furthermore, I am the High School Scholar Bowl coach. I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University in Environmental Biology with a minor in Botany in 1996. I earned my Master's of Science degree in Environmental Education from Southern Illinois University in 2008. I look forward to another great year sharing the curiosity and joy of science.
