Cobden Elementary Kindergarten Screening
Cobden Elementary School will be hosting its Kindergarten Screening on Friday, April 19, 2024.
Please call the Cobden Elementary Office at 618-893-2311 for an appointment to have your child screened.
To be eligible for a screening your child MUST be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 and live in the Cobden Unit School District #17.
Please bring the following with you to the screening:
*Child’s certified birth certificate
*Child’s current immunization record
*Proof of parent/guardian residency in District #17 (Two of the following)
Tax bill
Utility bill
Property deed
Lease
etc

2nd grade celebrated Dr. Suess Week with an all day read-a-thon. Students built cozy forts and then spent the day reading as many books as possible!

Appleknocker Club available
Appleblossom Cheer Update: Last practice this afternoon in the Elementary Cafeteria. Practice ends at 4:30. Shirts and bows will be distributed today.
Tomorrow is the performance at the Homecoming game. Appleblossoms need to arrive at the gym by 5:00 and will practice at 5:15. Parents and Appleblossom cheerleaders should sit together behind our players' bench before the performance. The basketball game begins at 6:00 and the Appleblossoms will perform at halftime.
